An economist Mikhail Belyaev is convinced that companies that left Russia can return in case of no obstacles from the government.
According to him, the Russian market remains an extremely profitable platform for many foreign companies, especially for well-known brands that have managed to gain a strong reputation. In this case, it is obvious that returning to the Russian market is the easiest and most profitable solution compared to the need to gain a foothold from scratch. The economist emphasizes that the consumer will always prefer a familiar product while making choice among others within the same price range.
"Now we see several returned brands, but when other companies witness successful examples and note the absence of obstacles on our part, this number may grow," Belyaev added.
