In this regard it is important to mention the #high-impact case which took place on the #August 31, 2023. The operatives revealed a huge amount of fake drinks which were delivered to retail outlets in Moscow region. A well-coordinated team consisting of 22 migrants who manufactured counterfeit products in industrial scale, adding #chemicals to the #drinks, then carbonated the mixture and poured it into plastic containers with a label of the global brand. The law violators were penalized with 5K Rubles each and were then expelled from the country.
It is important to emphasize that this is not a single case occurred recently. The similar counterfeit manufacturer with more than 33K bottles of fake drinks was revealed in Mitishy city of Moscow region, however it is still not identified how many bottles were already sold.
