On April 20, an extended meeting of the AEB association’s coatings industry working group took place. The event was dedicated to the following topic: "Counterfeit as a challenge for manufacturers of branded products on the example of the coatings industry".
At the meeting, companies representing the coatings industry reported on the current market situation and explained how they fight counterfeits and what problems they face. Representatives of law firms shared their experience in countering the distribution of counterfeit products.
Aksunkar Ashimbek, Business Development Manager at TKM, explained how the complex anti-counterfeiting strategy, which our company was successfully applying to protect the intellectual property rights of our clients, works. Aksunkar also illustrated the operation of the strategy using the example of several cases, outlined current trends and world best practices in suppressing distribution of counterfeit products and answered questions.
TKM will be glad to continue sharing our expertise and help representatives of the coatings industry improve their anti-counterfeiting strategy. We also plan to actively participate in the operation of other AEB’s working groups.
