At present, Russia has adopted a law on Parallel Import, which states that goods can be imported into the country without the consent of the copyright holder. The relevant legal norms were introduced by RF Government Resolution No. 506 of March 29, 2022. Following this, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Order No. 1532 of April 19, 2022, approving the list of goods permitted for import and sale within the framework of parallel import. To date, this list includes products of more than two hundred brands, whose trademarks are present, among other things, on counterfeit products imported into Russia unauthorized, under the guise of parallel import.
